I absolutely love cooking in a clean and well organized kitchen. I do not like cooking in a disorganized kitchen… at all. My love of cooking just disappears in the face of a messy kitchen.

Read MoreI adore vanilla. Honestly, I’m baffled by people using the word vanilla to mean boring or conventional. What could be more exotic? The pods come from orchids, some of the largest orchids that exist, actually. The vines can grow to 300ft, and they require very specific conditions to flower and fruit. I know because I considered growing one.

Read MoreI’d like to introduce an object that I use about once a week: my fabric shaver. I use it to remove the bobbles/pills that develop on fabric from wear. (Growing up, my family called them woobies. I have no idea why. We called the fabric shaver the de-wooby-er.)
